We are very proud to have been selected to join the Climate KIC Accelerator programme organised by Imperial College London. Climate-KIC is the most credible and practical climate change community in Europe and brings together the most influential and commercially minded players in this space to accelerate innovation and its implementation.
A key benefit of joining the programme is that we have secured a €20k EU grant that will enable us to establish the evidence for the commercial potential arising from the by-products of pulping process. We are working with the Universities of Brighton and University of Surrey as well as with some independent consultants to carry out a more accurate calculation of its yield and carbon footprint and to evaluate options for using the residues commercially.
