NAFICI Awarded $100 000 funding from Huhtamaki
Throughout October and November 2020, NAFICI participated in the Huhtamaki Circular Economy Program by Food System 6, after being selected as one of eight global businesses to receive a grant and mentorship. The program involved online mentorship, advising and networking, culminating in a week of immersive virtual programming. It was sponsored by the Finnish company Huhtamaki to celebrate their centenary as global food packaging specialists.Huhtamaki is a major player in sustainable packaging, focusing on fiber-based solutions like paperboard, moulded fibre, and recycled paper products.

2018 EIC European Innovation
NAFICI won the Gold Award in the Circular Packaging category.
SME Instrument companies had the opportunity to present their business cases and network with some of Europe’s largest corporates at the InQBet accelerator, Procter and Gamble’s Innovation Center in Brussels.
The event was broken down into 15 presentation sessions, covering 10 topics ranging from healthcare to circular economy and artificial intelligence. In the end, 10 companies received awards for the best presentation in each category.

Innovate UK Show: UK’s largest innovation show – Oct 2016
NAFICI has won a place in an exhibition of the most cutting edge innovations from businesses across the country at the UK’s largest innovation show in November.
NAFICI was one of 100 companies nationwide to be selected to showcase its innovation to over 2,500 attendees at Innovate 2016 on November 2nd and 3rd in Manchester.
Innovate 2016 is the UK’s largest multi-sector innovation event and is organised by Innovate UK and the Department for International Trade. It is set up to create opportunities for export and investment for the UK’s most innovative companies.

The Cleantech Innovate programme of low carbon showcases celebrates the very best of green industry innovation since 2013. On 11 February 2016, the 4th Cleantech Innovate London was at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and a new international dimension from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.

Dec 2014 to 2018 – NAFICI was selected to be part of the Climate KIC accelerator programme for Stage 1, 2 and 3 which includes funding and coaching.
